Carry more bikes with the use of a roof mounted bike rack. Roof mounted bike racks are designed to mount to the crossbars on the roof rack.

Step 1: Determine the type of crossbars on your roof rack.

Step 2: Choose your mount style:

Bike Rack - MOUNTAINTRAIL Fork Roof-mount; for all crossbarsBike Rack - DISCOVERY Roof-mount, Right Hand; fits all RR crossbars
Fork Style: Wheel removal. No frame contact.Cradle Style: Wheel stays on. Frame contact.

Step 3: Determine your bicycle wheel width and length

Measure the difference between where the bike tire meets the ground to where the rubber tire meets the metal rim of the wheel. That distance is the width of the tire. Multiply the tire measurement by 2, because there is rubber tire on the top and bottom of the wheel. Measure the diameter of the wheel rim. Add the measurement of the wheel rim to the measurement of the rubber tire that you multiplied by 2. That is the measurement of the wheel.

Step 4: Security - Is the lock included or does it need to be purchased separately?

If the rack does not include a lock, see the Bike Rack Accessories category for all your options.
